율법과 복음은 반대 개념이 아닙니다 Law and Gospel are not opposite concepts

“복음과 율법” 이란 말을 흔히 사용합니다. 그런데 이 말을 듣는 순간 이 둘은 “반대의 개념이다” 생각할 때가 많은 것 같습니다. 그런데 이것은 신약의 가르침을 크게 오해한 것입니다. We often use a phrase “Gospel and Law,” preconceiving it as a contrast.  Is this an opposite concept? If so, we misunderstood greatly the teaching of the New Testament.

신약은 “복음 (good news)”의 반대는 “악음(bad news)” 이요,
“율법(Law)”의 반대는 “불법(Lawless)”이라 가르칩니다.
“복음 (good news) 과 율법”은 둘 다 의롭고 거룩하고 선한 (good) 것입니다. 왜냐하면 둘 다 선하신 하나님께서 우리 인간에게 어떻게 사는 것이 의롭게( 옳게) 사는 것인지 보여주신 하나님의 말씀이기 때문입니다. (롬7:12) “The Gospel and the Law” are not opposite concepts. The opposite of Good News is Bad News, and the opposite of the Law is Lawless.  Both Good News and the Law are the words of good God who showed humanity how to live rightly. (Rom.7:12) .

율법이 없으면 죄를 깨달음이 없고,
죄를 깨달음이 없으면 복음도 복된 소식이 될 수 없습니다. ‘율법없는 복음’은 없고, ‘죄의 깨달음없는 죄용서함’은 없는 것입니다. Without the Law, there is no realization of sin: without the realization of sin, there is no forgiveness of sin. In other words, There is no GOOD news without the Law!
